Curva: for everyone (2020)

Curva는 모두를 위한, 특히 시각장애인을 위한 새로운 인덕션입니다.
사람들은 건강과 안전, 편리를 위해 가스레인지 대신 인덕션을 사용하기 시작했습니다.
하지만 이 인덕션은 저시력인 사람과 시각장애인에게 결코 안전하지도 편리하지도 않습니다.
이는 눈이 보이지 않는 시각장애인이 인덕션을 손으로 만졌을 때 구분할 수 없는 평평한 형태에
터치 디스플레이와 버튼처럼 시각정보 기반의 기능만 제공하고 있기 때문입니다.
Curva is the new electromagnetic induction cooking device for everyone,
especially for people with visual impairment.
We started using induction instead of gas stove for health, safety, and convenience.
However, induction is never safe and comfortable for people with low vision and blind people.
This is because the induction shape is flat, there is no tilt or bend when felt by hand and it is made
with a display, and touch button that must be used visually.
The blind who can see things with their hands, feel the induction is just flat square.
They can't even find out where the hot plate is on that square plate.

Is induction really safe and convenient for everyone?
"Let's start cooking !"
인덕션의 간단한 사용성과 깔끔한 디자인은 요리하는 사용자에게 즐거움을 줍니다.
The simple usability and clean design of the induction make people happy.
"Where should I put this pot down? I don't know where to start cooking ..."
하지만, 터치버튼과 디스플레이로 이루어진 인덕션은 모양 또한 대부분 평평해서
눈이 보이지 않는 사람에게는 뜨겁고 위험한 직사각형 판에 불과합니다.
However, the induction, consisting of touch buttons and displays, is also mostly flat in shape,
making it just a hot and dangerous rectangular plate for blinds.

비장애인에게 편리한 시각적 요소 · 다양하고 복잡한 기능 · 평평한 외관이 아닌,
입체적인 외관과 촉각적 요소를 적극 활용하여 모두에게 접근성이 좋은 인덕션으로!
Induction for all, not only visual elements but also tactile elements in design!
Tactile point 촉감을 이용한 디자인
터치 디스플레이와 버튼으로 구성된 조작부와 전체적으로 평평한 형태를 지닌 시각에만 집중된 기존의 인덕션과는 다르게
Curva는 곡선을 따라 인덕션 바디가 부드럽게 이어져, 시각장애인이 안전하게 사용할 수 있게 촉각에 집중한 새로운 디자인을
적용했습니다.
Unlike conventional induction, which is composed entirely of visual things like displays and touch buttons with a flat shape,
The curva has a new design that focuses on the sense of touch that the induction body is smooth along the curve.
People can use it safely from feeling by their fingers.
Safe mountain zone 안전한 마운틴 존
산봉우리처럼 완만한 곡선으로 인덕션 화구가 감싸져있는 마운틴 존입니다. 곡선을 따라 올라가는 구간으로,
손으로 더듬어서 튀어나온 부분과 라인을 따라 화구의 위치를 안전하고 정확하게 파악할 수 있도록 도와줍니다.
It's a mountain zone surrounded by hot plates with gentle curves like mountain peaks. The section along the curve
helps people feel the embossed part named bump line, the curved part, and other rough finished parts of the material
and pinpoint the location of hot plates.
Different button finishing 기능을 구분하기 쉬운 마감처리
각 화구마다 화력조절과 타이머를 조절하는 두가지 버튼이 있습니다. 두가지 버튼은 손으로 만졌을 때
차이를 알 수 있도록 화력조절 버튼에는 음각패턴이, 타이머 버튼은 매끈하도록 재질을 다르게 했습니다.
또한 버튼을 조절하는 동시에 음성안내를 통해 화력의 정도와 타이머 시간 설정을 할 수 있습니다.
Curva has two buttons for each hot plate to adjust the firepower and timer. To make sure the difference
between the two buttons is clear when touched, the fire control buttons (material finishing difference) are matte
with the engraving pattern and the timer buttons are semi-glossed.
People can also set the firepower and timer time through the voice guide while adjusting induction buttons.
Freeze! 용기 고정기능
프리즈는 조리하는 중, 뜨거운 용기를 건드려 음식을 엎거나 화상을 입는 위험으로부터 사용자를 보호해주는 기능입니다. 화구 위에 용기를 올려두면 무게감지를 통해 조리를 시작하며 자동으로 용기 사이즈에 맞게 양쪽에서 홀더가 나와 용기를 고정시켜줍니다.
Freeze is a functions that protects against danger such as spilling a pan or getting burned by touching a hot container during cooking. When the user places the container on the hot plate, it starts cooking by weight sensing, and freeze holders automatically appear on both sides to fit the container size.
인덕션 우측에 있는 버튼으로 프리즈 기능을 비활성화 / 활성화 할 수 있습니다.
Freeze function can be blocked and activated by the button on the right side the induction.
